Intersolar Africa 2026 has been rescheduled. The international exhibition and conference for solar and energy storage technologies will now take place earlier than originally planned – on February 3–4, 2026 at the Sarit Expo Centre in Nairobi. The new date reflects updates to the global exhibition calendar and responds to strong demand from key market players for an earlier event.

The new timing not only improves Intersolar Africa’s alignment with the global event calendar but also reinforces its role as the key kick-off event for the solar and storage sector on the African continent.

Maximum visibility – fewer scheduling conflicts

Another important reason for the change is to avoid overlapping with other major industry events. The new timing offers exhibitors, attendees and partners greater visibility, stronger outreach and maximum attention for their initiatives and projects.

The decision is based on feedback from companies, partners and institutions from both within Africa and abroad. In a rapidly growing market like East Africa, an earlier event date has increasing strategic relevance – for technology providers as well as investors, project developers and policy makers.

Intersolar Africa

Intersolar Africa will take place on February 3–4, 2026 at the modern Sarit Expo Centre in Nairobi, Kenya. As the international exhibition and conference for solar and energy storage in africa, the event provides a dedicated platform for professional exchange, technological innovation and the advancement of sustainable energy markets across the African continent.

More than 100 exhibitors, over 3,000 trade visitors and approximately 250 conference participants from across the renewable energy sector are expected in 2026. The focus is on the latest developments in photovoltaics – including energy storage, grid integration and financing models tailored to the specific needs of Africa’s energy landscape. Intersolar Africa brings together key stakeholders – from solar developers and EPCs to investors, policymakers and technology providers – offering an ideal environment for knowledge-sharing, business development and strategic partnerships.

The event is organized by Solar Promotion International GmbH and Freiburg Wirtschaft Touristik und Messe GmbH & Co. KG (FWTM) in cooperation with local and international partners.
